RADIO OVER MOSCOW

Radio Over Moscow was a musical project retired in 2015 to make way for Anecdata.

If you’re keen to hear some really old and dubiously written and recorded stuff though, you’re in the right place, I guess?

Check out Radio Over Moscow’s output below – download via Bandcamp (pay what you want) or stream at all the usual outlets.

The Wow! Signal was later re-recorded for Anecdata‘s Bunkerland album. Backed with It Is What It Is.

An EP of covers – Duran Duran, Pseudo Echo, John Lennon and the Beatles.

Paradox on Earth

ALBUM – Released September 22, 2014

Fuzzy guitars, fuzzier keys, big drums and bigger synthbass – it’s the final and best album from Radio Over Moscow. Politics, snark and lyrics inspired by those times you go down the Wikipedia rabbit hole.

2013

Contact

ALBUM – Released August 15, 2013

The fourth album from Radio Over Moscow.

2012

Deus Ex Robotica

DOUBLE ALBUM – Released 2011-2012

The third album from Radio Over Moscow. Released a song at a time over 2011 and 2012. Tells the story of the world’s first cyborg politician.

There are plans to rerecord it one day, with added songs. Make it a quadruple.

Due to the nature of its release at the time, it is not on streaming – just Bandcamp. A less compressed version is available here.

2010

Circle Jerk 2010

EP – Released June 29, 2010

An EP of electronic-tinged cover versions of songs by local bands from Hamilton, New Zealand, including Love and Violence, Tweeter and Amy Racecar.

Only on Bandcamp.

Hide the Decline

ALBUM – Released April 24, 2010

Album number two from Radio Over Moscow – some dirty lo-fi bedroom indie rock/new wave.

If you’d like a less-compressed, more dynamic mix, with bonus extras, here you go.

2009

Battletech

ALBUM – Released July 18, 2009

Debut album from Radio Over Moscow – a mix of indie guitars and retro electronics, primitively performed and produced.
